Meet Relentless Athlete and 2011 Success Story, Emily! Over the course of the past year, I have had the privilege of coaching and getting to know Emily. She has been doing so well for so long, it’s hard for me to remember a time when she wasn’t crushing WODs and among the leaders the pack in her Little Stacy Park class. More than finding her inner athlete again and losing 15 lbs in the process, I am most proud of Emily for doing something that will improve her health more than any type of exercise ever will - she finally gave up smoking for good!  I was so very proud to welcome her to the “I Am Relentless” club on the day that she professed to the crew that she had finally kicked the habit. She later told me that the little blue bracelet and what it represented, kept her strong during those first few weeks without nicotine. In that moment, I knew that she fully embraced and embodied what it means to be RELENTLESS. I am so proud and am looking forward to seeing Emily progress with her fitness even more in 2012.
