You miss 100% of the shots you never take. Some of you have no idea how good you are. Some of you are resting on genius and just keeping it all to yourselves out of fear. I have a very strong urge to give some people a swift kick in the pants. I resist said urge, but it’s hard when you hear this all the time: “I didn’t submit/call/do/go/try because I was afraid.” You miss 100% of the shots you never take. Fear of rejection, the unknown, or criticism, whatever it may be… fear is holding you back from your next big move. Fear is holding you from YOU. From your full potential. There isn’t a literal brick wall surrounding you holding you back from acting on what you want, but I know it can feel that way. Fear is very real. But, you owe it to yourself to try… to take that shot. Fear is helpful. It teaches us. It helps us weigh risks. Fear is feedback. Ultimately, you have a choice: take the shot or let life pass you by. Everyone is sitting on a brilliant idea. Everyone. Yes, I’m talking to YOU. Your next big move. Friends, that next big move is yours for the taking if you will just do something about it. Progress, not perfection. Take the shot you know is yours to take. Take the risk that’s 100% on your heart. Get it.
